HOME’s latest exhibit examines how biased practices in credit and lending contribute to housing inequality and instability. The homeownership gap between Black and White homeowners is greater today than it was 50 years ago. The exhibit and talk will examine how credit disparities and dual credit markets of mainstream and fringe financial services providers have contributed to this racial homeownership gap, the profound consequences of these practices, and how to change these systems of inequities.

Stay tuned for upcoming venues.
