(Fitz)Patricks Day Party

The origin story of this fundraiser and party…
Growing up, my grandfather instilled in me an understanding that as Fitzpatricks, we stand up for the underdog. Upholding this family tradition, I became a public interest attorney and joined the fair housing movement. While I had long been aware of his involvement with his town’s Human Relations Council, it wasn’t until my father shared a news article from 1965 that I appreciated the impact of his efforts. As the founding president, Thomas J. Fitzpatrick led efforts to promote an inclusive community that welcomed and embraced Black neighbors and advocated for robust laws against housing and employment discrimination.
In honor of my late Grandpa Tom, the OG Thomas Fitzpatrick, Gretchen and I are throwing the Second Annual HOME Fundraiser and St. Patrick’s Day Party. Please join us in this movement and for a night of merriment.
